Responsible Innovators Award
Bulgarelli Production, a company based in Carpi (Modena) that designs and produces tags, labels, cardboard accessories, and micro-packaging for clothing and fashion accessories, received a special mention during the award ceremony of the eighth edition of the ‘Responsible Innovators Award – ER.Rsi’. The event was organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region and held yesterday at the Golinelli Foundation in Bologna. “The systematic approach towards various aspects of sustainability, from attention to people to transparent reporting, finds its point of excellence in the commitment towards the environment: the first company in the fashion industry to become carbon positive, ahead of the times expected by Agenda 2030,” says the company in a statement, now included in the list of responsible innovators. This is an important recognition, as responsible innovation is one of the fundamental pillars of the Carpi-based company.
The aim of the initiative is to enhance the contribution of the production system, education, and research, in achieving the goals indicated in the Pact for Work and Climate and in the Emilia-Romagna Region’s 2030 Strategy, also in response to the new economic and social emergencies that have emerged recently. This is demonstrated by the concrete results achieved by Bulgarelli Production: a structure that adopts the ESG factors (Environment, Social, and Governance) and integrates research, experimentation, design, production, logistics, and customer care. It is also at the forefront in the use of recyclable raw materials and in the adoption of production processes that are climate-neutral, with continuous investments in research and development projects, also with respect to energy sources.
